What’s the difference between the East and West cohorts?
- East Cohort meets at 10:00 AM CET (4:00 AM EST | 3:00 PM IST).
- West Cohort meets at 6:00 PM CET (12:00 PM EST | 11:00 PM IST).
Choose the cohort that fits your schedule best. If your plans change, you can always switch between cohorts based on availability.
How do I join the sessions?
The sessions will be hosted on Zoom. You’ll receive the link and instructions after registering.
What if I already have experience with OBS and Stream Deck?
This course isn’t just for beginners. It can also serve as an extended refresher with new perspectives, advanced workflows, and creative techniques. You’ll leave with refined skills and innovative ways to enhance your virtual sessions.
What tools or software do I need before starting the course?
You’ll need to install OBS Studio (free) and Zoom. A stable internet connection and a computer capable of running OBS are essential. A webcam and microphone are also necessary for hands-on practice.
What hardware is recommended?
- A laptop or desktop with at least 8GB RAM.
- A microphone and webcam for hands-on practice.
- Dual monitors for smoother workflows (optional but highly recommended).
- A Stream Deck for optimized workflows (optional but recommended).
Do I need to own a Stream Deck to join this course?
No, a Stream Deck is optional. You can still learn OBS Studio and use free alternatives like software-based Stream Decks. What if I have technical difficulties during the course?
I’ll provide technical support to ensure you can fully participate. If you miss anything due to technical issues, session recordings will be available for your convenience.
